Augustus Tennessee was born amongst the sticks, close enough to be quite near the Cumbrian harbour town of Maryport. This cool and breezy town sank below and between the vast mountains of Scotland as seen from across the sea and from behind the shadows of the tourist beauty, the lake district. Augustus sat in this rural idleness amongst his favourite places unable to see much past its borders.

After venturing to cities along the north, he came to Leeds then settled in Manchester. Now, daily concerns were turning into bills and tidying the kitchen. Remembering the colours, forms and images that agreed with him in his pasts dreamy seclusion, he applied them to his keen impression of music. Augustus makes posters and record sleeves and enjoys tasty pies and woodland.
